2020-02-21bootconfig: Add append value operator supportMasami Hiramatsu
Add append value operator "+=" support to bootconfig syntax. With this operator, user can add new value to the key as an entry of array instead of overwriting. For example, foo = bar ... foo += baz Then the key "foo" has "bar" and "baz" values as an array. 2020-02-21bootconfig: Prohibit re-defining value on same keyMasami Hiramatsu
Currently, bootconfig adds a new value on the existing key to the tail of an array. But this looks a bit confusing because an admin can easily rewrite the original value in the same config file. This rejects the following value re-definition. key = value1 ... key = value2 You should rewrite value1 to value2 in this case. Reject if a value node is mixed with subkey node on same parent key node. A value node can not co-exist with subkey node under some key node, e.g. key = value key.subkey = another-value This is not be allowed because bootconfig API is not designed to handle such case. 2020-02-20bootconfig: Add bootconfig magic word for indicating bootconfig explicitlyMasami Hiramatsu
Add bootconfig magic word to the end of bootconfig on initrd image for indicating explicitly the bootconfig is there. Also tools/bootconfig treats wrong size or wrong checksum or parse error as an error, because if there is a bootconfig magic word, there must be a bootconfig. The bootconfig magic word is "#BOOTCONFIG\n", 12 bytes word. Thus the block image of the initrd file with bootconfig is as follows. 2020-01-03selftests: loopback.sh: skip this test if the driver does not supportHangbin Liu
The loopback feature is only supported on a few drivers like broadcom, mellanox, etc. The default veth driver has not supported it yet. To avoid returning failed and making the runner feel confused, let's just skip the test on drivers that not support loopback. The seccomp_notif structure should be zeroed out prior to calling the SECCOMP_IOCTL_NOTIF_RECV ioctl. Previously, the kernel did not check whether these structures were zeroed out or not, so these worked. This patch zeroes out the seccomp_notif data structure prior to calling the ioctl. The rseq.h UAPI now documents that the rseq_cs field must be cleared before reclaiming memory that contains the targeted struct rseq_cs, but also that the rseq_cs field must be cleared before reclaiming memory of the code pointed to by the rseq_cs start_ip and post_commit_offset fields. While we can expect that use of dlclose(3) will typically unmap both struct rseq_cs and its associated code at once, nothing would theoretically prevent a JIT from reclaiming the code without reclaiming the struct rseq_cs, which would erroneously allow the kernel to consider new code which is not a rseq critical section as a rseq critical section following a code reclaim. I am not having any folder as /usr/lib64 and also the debian policy doesnot allow installing in /usr/lib64. It should be in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/.
